The Fix

First, You need to start big picture mode its the full screen button on the top right corner of the steam window.

Then you need to go to burnout paradise remastered in your Library and go to the controller options.

Lastly you need to disable steam’s configuration by selecting the “forced off” option after you apply these settings, start the game and your controller should work.
