Death Stranding Director’s Cut – Guide to Get the New Content from Director’s Cut

Where to go/how to find the new structures.

New Missions

Note: Credit goes to redactedSnake

The first two new missions are in the first map

  • When. You can play them once you reach the Distribution Center west of Central Knot.
  • Where. Accept the mission in the Distribution Center. You’ll be given the Maser Gun, and you’ll find them behind the Ludens Fan (bring a couple ladders). Both missions are in the same place, but the first one is on the outside and the second one inside

The third mission becomes available one you finish the game (haven’t gotten to it yet).

New Structures

Jump Ramp

  • When. Once you make a delivery to the Weather Station in the second map.
  • Where. In the Weather Station. Accept the mission and deliver the package to the Distribution Center west of Lake Knot. Bring a few Spray repairers.

Chiral Bridge

  • When. Once you make a delivery to the Chiral Artist in the second map.
  • Where. In the Chiral Artist’s post. Accept the mission and deliver the package to the Distribution Center west of Lake Knot. Bring a few Spray repairers.

Buddy Bot

  • When. Once you meet Mama in the second map.
  • Where. In the Distribution Center west of Lake Knot. Accept the mission and head south of the Junk Dealer. You’ll find an injured porter between some montains.

New Equipment

Maser Gun

  • Given to you once you accept the first new mission at the Distribution Center west of Capital Knot.

Omnireflector Boots

  • Where. Only found at MULE bases, or carried by MULEs. They are a bit better than Bridge Boots Level 2.

Reserve Trike Transporter

  • Actually I’m not entirely sure how to unlock it. I delivered like 4 different packages at the same time to Lake Knot and reached 4 starts while doing it. Might be the fact that I reached level 4.

RaceTrack

  • When. Once you made your first delivery to South Knot.
  • Where. Behind the Timefall Farm on the second map. You’ll need to build it, like a road.

I love two things in life, games and sports. Although sports were my earliest interest, it was video games that got me completely addicted (in a good way). My first game was Crash Bandicoot (PS1) from the legendary studio Naughty Dog back in 1996. I turned my passion for gaming into a job back in 2019 when I transformed my geek blog (Re-actor) into the gaming website it is today.
