Putting in this into Steam launch options:

+set r_fullscreen -1 +set r_windowHeight "1430" +set r_windowWidth "3440" +set r_windowY "0 +set r_windowX "0

This fixes the vanilla version of the game without mods.

Note: Change windowHeight and windowWidth to suit your native desktop resolution and away you go!
