ELDEN RING – Sorceress Build / Level 99 / Guide & Showcase

Sorceress is one of my favorite builds in elden ring, because you can hit enemies from a great distance and deal a lot of damage if you can make the right combination with your character attribute.

Today i’m going to show you my level 99 sorceress build, and make sure you invest the right attribute to maximize your character.

Meteorite Staff

Note: Credit goes to APRI.WD

For the weapon i like to use Meteorite Staff, the reason is because it has “S” attribute in intelligence scaling, that’s mean you can deal more spell damage when using this staff compare with other staff in the game, so make sure to invest enough intelligence in your character.

The more intelligence you have the more damage you can be produced while using the meteorite staff to cast your spells. This staff can be found on a corpse hanging from a ledge in a small room with poison flowers in Caelid.

Magic

For magic i like to use Rock sling, Shift Glinstone shard and Comet Azure.

Rock Sling

With Rock Sling, you can Summons up to 3 clump of rocks from the earth and sends them flying, What I like the most about this spell is that you can attack the enemy from a great distance and deals Physical Damage that can easily break enemy stance. Really effective especially when you deal with a dragon. You can find this spell inside a chest in a cellar in the northern section of the Street of Sages Ruins.

Swift Glintstone Shard

it has the Quickest casting spell in the game but deal less damage than Glintstone Pebble, make it suitable to kill small enemy during playthrought. This spell can be purchased from Sorceress Sellen after you deliver her the Academy Scroll.

Comet Azure

You can creates a giant comet that deals very high damage from a great distance continuously until you running out of FP. You can obtain this spell from Primeval Sorcerer Azur who sits near the cliff in the northeast of Hermit Village on Mount Gelmir.

Terra magic

Optional spell that can Increases magic potency while standing inside of the sphere by 35%, However it doesn’t work with Rock Slings that contain physical attacks, you can get this spell after you defeating boss in Academy Crystal Cave dungeon and taking the elevator behind the Crystalians bosses.

Talisman

There are some talisman that can support this build and increase you spell power such as Radagon icon, Graven-School Talisman, Graven-Mass Talisman and Ritual Sword Talisman.

Radagon Icon

Shortens spell casting time, this talisman can be found inside a treasure chest on the second floor of the Debate Parlor Site of Grace.

Graven-School Talisman

Raises potency of sorceries by 4%, you can get this talisman At Raya Lucaria Academy, in a room with many Living Jars.

Graven-Mass Talisman

Boosts Sorcery damage by +8%, it can be found in a chest atop the Albinauric Rise tower.

Ritual Sword Talisman

Raises attack power when your HP is at maximum, this talisman can be found in Lux Ruins, in a chest after defeating the boss, Demi-Human Queen Gilika.

Bloodhound’s Step

As a sorcerer we need to keep our distance from the enemy and avoid their attacks,so i recommend you to use Bloodhound’s step ash of war.

what i really like about this ash of war is you can perform high speed invisible dodging and travels farther than a regular quickstep. a very good ability when it comes to keeping the distance from the enemy and avoiding their attack. You can infuse this ash of war to your regular weapon and use it in your right hand so you can perform Bloodhund’s step easily.

This ash of war dropped by a Night’s Cavalry at the bridge in front of the Lenne’s Rise tower, in Dragonbarrow after you kill him. it should be noted he only appears at night so make sure to pass the time until nightfall at the grace site.

Crystal Tears

Another way to temporarily boost this build is by consuming Crystal Tears, it should be noted you are only allowed to mix up to 2 Crystal Tears using Flask of Wondrous Physick

Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear

Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear can Temporarily boosts magic attacks in mixed physick up to 20% for 3 minutes. This Crystal Tears can be found after you defeat the Erdtree Avatar in Liurnia of the Lakes, under the Minor Erdtree.

Cerulean Hidden Tear

Cerulean Hidden Tear allow you to Eliminates all FP consumption in mixed physick for few second, really powerful especially if you want to perform Comet Azur spell. You can get this Crystal Tears after defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit on Mt. Gelmir.

Status

Because we focus on spell attacks, so I suggest you to invest more in intelligence. The more intelligence you have the more damage you can be produced when using meteorite staff.

Armor

For armor you can wear the most protective one like Lionel’s Set armor. You can also wear Twinsage Glintstone Crown to increase your intelligence by 6.

Showcase

Overall Sorceress is one of my favorite builds in the game, because you can hit enemies from a great distance and deal a lot of damage if you can make the right combination with your character attribute, very easy to play with, make it suitable build for beginners who are playing Elden Ring for the first time.
