Fantasy Blacksmith – Alter Guide / Alter Elements and Enhancers Explained

So I took the time to figure out all the Element items and what each Enhancer does. I think I got all of the Enhancers, but I might be missing a couple. As of right now there are only 4 different Elements. Red and Green clover you can buy in Mithril Mine and Dragon Cliffs. The Sphere and the Claw you can find in the mine and the Claw can be traded for as well. All of the Enhancers you will find in the mine. The higher the % increase the item gives the more rare it will be in the mine.

Now, when it comes to what enhancer you want to use, the best would be to use whatever has a higher % increase. The % increase is the overall price increase from the element you put in the alter. For example, using the Green Clover and Titan Ore will give you an element price of 280. 200 X 1.40 = 280. Using the Claw and Silver ore will give you an Element cost of 630. 350 X 1.8 = 630.

If the math is a bit too much or if I’m not explaining it well, just find the highest % increase item and use that with your Element. I hope this helps you when using the Alter. Also the higher the Element price the more visual effects with be there. Very nice addition.

I got tired of guessing what Enhancers gave you the most profit for your Elements. So in the pursuit of making the most expensive sword in the game, I mined for materials for about 8 hours. At the end of all of that, I found all the necessary items and had extra to test all of the Element and Enhancer prices.

I didn’t test every single Enhancer with every single Element, because that would have taken way too many resources. Instead I tested the more common materials like the bracelet and copper ore to figure out the the items have a set % that it increases the price of the Element by.

Each Enhancer with raise the price of the Element by a specific % amount. It doesn’t matter what Element it is. Gold Ore will always increase the price of the Element by 200% or it will end up as 300% of the original price of the Element. In the guide i used the % that it will increase by. This is the Equation you can use to find out the price before you put it in the Alter.

A * (B + 1) = Final Price.
A = Element Price
B = Enhancer % (40% = .4) (180% = 1.8)
Remember to do the (B + 1) first and then multiply by A.
Example with the Sphere and Gold Ore
300 * (200% + 1)
300 * (2 + 1)
300 * 3 = 900

Some other Key things to keep in mind, when you use the same Element on the same sword again, it will replace the current price for that Element. So if you originally used Copper Ore and want to use gold you can. it will act as if you never put the Copper Ore on there. That said, Copper Ore will replace your Gold Ore if you use that same Element on the same sword. So keep in mind which Elements you have already used.

Below is a Sword with the highest Element Price in the game as of 13 January 2020. This might change in the future which is why I put the date in there.
