GTA 5 – How to Play Solo Online (GTA Online)

Easy way to play alone in multiplayer!

How-To

• Start in a Public lobby as usual
• Alt+Tab to desktop
• Ctrl+Alt+Del to open task manager
• Once there, click ‘Performance’ tab
• At the bottom click on ‘Open Resource Monitor’
• In the ‘Processes with network Activity’ find ‘GTA5.exe’
• Right click on it and choose ‘Suspend Process’
• Confirm when the message appears asking you whether you actually want to do this.
• After around 15 seconds right click on ‘GTA5.exe’ and choose ‘Resume Process’.
• Confirm when the message appears asking you whether you actually want to do this.
• Get back in the game.

That’s it! Do whatever you want, the server is all yours until some more people will join it eventually.

Note: Wait longer in case you still have people in your lobby, but 15 seconds should be more than enough.
