KILL la KILL -IF – How to Get The Fearless Achievement

This is a slow but sure way of getting this 500 elimination achievement. Fearless – Defeated 500 units in Endless Brawl.

Introduction

Hi! This is my first ever guide, and quick guide for those who may find themselves struggling to eliminate 500 Covers. Hopefully by following this, you too will get the achievement. However this will require a LOT of patience. (TL;DR at the Bottom).

Who Do I Pick?

There are a LOT of viable characters I found that had the ability to do so, some good examples are: 

• Nonon Jakuzure
• Nui Harime
• Ragyo Kiryuin

Although they have their own abilities for clearing a big crowd, my personal choice was Houka Inumata. You’re probably wondering to yourself, “Why not Ragyo Kiruin?” While I did give her a few tries, the issue with the game is it locks on to whichever cover is closest, and there’s a lot of covers. So guarding, strafing and using her long range will make her beam do a sweep motion, you’re going to get hit by the other covers that are spread out due to her having to be still to do it. Not to mention her mobility is alright, it’s just that she stands still after landing her jump making her vulnerable a bit. The same could go with “Nonon Jakuzure”. Not to mention the camera lock on has a chance to make her strafe right in front of other covers causing her to get hit.

So, Why Houka Inumata?

2 Of the best reasons I found and really helped me out. 

Mobility – Inumata is pretty fast, and you need to be constantly on the move so you don’t get smacked around. 

Range – Inumata I found was better range wise, he can pop in, toss his data range clones out, and get out of there.

So, How Does Houka Inumata Work Here?

This is LITERALLY where your patience comes in. It’s better to be safe then sorry and I only used my close range attacks when I really had to. To do this what you want to do is back off as far as you can from the covers (Yeah, pretty simple I know) After that spam your long range attack, you’ll be at a safe distance and your clones will do all the damage. Like I said, It’s better to be safe than sorry and I can imagine you do NOT want to fail at 450 going though all of this again. As for your supers, I just went with the range one that causes you to throw out more of your data clones and cause you to go invisible. The invisibility doesn’t help, but the clones will. Do this until you hit about 500 and it’ll be all yours! Keep an eye out for the food drops. 🙂

Conclusion

Well, that’s pretty much it. I by no means am a pro at fighting games, this was just for fun and to help others. The only real advice I can give you is do not be greedy. Try to focus on the big covers as much as you can. 

TL;DR

• Pick Houka Inumata.
• Run along the edges of the level.
• Spam your long range attack, but not too much, give yourself time to run out.
