Collectibles / Challenges
Free Run Done
Complete all Free Run Challenges:
Free Run’s are discovered when reaching the end of an obstacle and collecting the Free Run token. To play the Free Run challenge, return to where the start of the obstacle is, and just walk into the highlighted area. These are easy, especially if you use the astronaut to jet pack to the finish.
Speedster
Complete all Vehicle Races:
There are a total of 16 Vehicle Races throughout the city. Vehicle Races are discovered on vehicles that are highlighted with a white beam. Once you enter the vehicle, it will ask you to begin the tutorial. All the races require you to drive through beams, which gives you more time to complete the race. You can see Vehicle Races through the goggles, if you are near one.
Top Cop
Complete all Police City Challenges:
There are two types of challenges to complete for the Police disguise. Vehicle Robbers and Gang arrests. There are 12 vehicle robber challenges, which are discovered by finding the orange police beam, usually found on rooftops or tall towers. Once you locate a robber, a police helicopter will bring a police car to you to catch the thief. There are 16 Gang arrests, which are discovered by finding the green police beam, usually found on rooftops or tall towers, these challenges ask you to find the correct conversation, listen to it, and go to the marked location before the time runs out. Once there, you are required to defeat 5-6 enemies in order to complete the challenge.
Crime Waive
Complete all Robber City Challenges:
There are two types of challenges to complete for the Robber disguise. Vehicle Robberies and Smash ATMs. There are 13 Vehicle Robberies, which are discovered usually having to break into a garage and stealing a car. Once you break into the garage, the challenge will start when you hit accept. All you have to do for these challenges is take the car back to another garage, while driving from the police. There are 18 Smash ATMs locations, these are discovered throughout LEGO city and can only be smashed into as the robber disguise. You can see the locations of these when you are near them through the police goggles.
Miner Accomplishment
Complete all Miner City Challenges:
There are two types of challenges to complete for the Miner disguise. Destroy Boulders and Destroy Silver Statues. Both of these challenges are located throughout LEGO city and can be discovered through the police goggles when you are near them. I would recommend getting the Unlimited Dynamite red brick before going for the silver statues, makes it so much easier.
Astronaut Ace
Complete all Astronaut City challenges:
There are two types of challenges to complete for the Astronaut disguise. Capture Aliens and Conquer Districts. There are 17 Capture Aliens locations, which are discovered when finding the astronaut boxes and completing the puzzle, Once complete, and alien will appear and you must chase it and arrest it in order to complete the challenge. There are 20 Conquer Districts locations, usually found high above the city, you must get to the pad and plant a flag in order to complete the challenge. Both of these challenges can be discovered through the police goggles once you get near them.
Focused Farmer
Complete all Farmer City Challenges:
There are two types of challenges to complete for the Farmer disguise. Return Pigs and Flower Boxes. There are 22 Return Pigs challenges. This is probably the worst challenge in the game, it’s pretty annoying reaching the locations of some of the pigs. Most of the pigs are found on high buildings, they can be discovered with the police goggles once you get near them. Once you find the pig, you must ride it to the pig cannon and shoot the pig to the farm. There are 20 Flower Boxlocations. Pretty easy and straight forward, find the flowers as the farmer and water them to complete the challenge. These can be discovered with the police goggles once you get near them.
Firefight Right
Complete all Firefighter City challenges:
There are two types of challenges to complete for the Firefighter disguise. Rescue Cats and Extinguish BBQs. There are 17 Rescue Cats challenges. The cats are usually found in high locations, and can be discovered with the police goggles when you get near them. Just go to the circle spot below the cat, feed him fish, and the challenge is complete. There are 17 Extinguish BBQschallenges. Just extinguish the BBQ with the fire hose to complete the challenge. They can be discovered through the police goggles once you get near them.
Construction Completion
Complete all Construction City challenges:
There are two type of challenges to complete for the Construction disguise. Drill Thrills and Coffee Breaks. There are 17 Drill Thrill challenges. To begin the Drill Thrill, you must first activate the power box near the button, then step on the button to begin. Once started, you must drill all the rock pieces before time runs out. It’s easier to complete once you have the Super Drill Ride red brick as it makes you faster while drilling, however it is completely doable without it. There are 20 Coffee Breakschallenges scattered around LEGO city. All you have to do for these challenges is go up to them and drink the coffee. These locations can be discovered through the police goggles once you get near them.

Achieve LEGO City Hero on all levels:
This is easy to do with the stud multipliers. It can be done without them, but then you have to worry about not missing a coin. It can be done with the 2x Multiplier or any of the other ones. To get the multipliers, you must collect the Red Bricks within the levels and around the city.
City Protector
Collect all Police Shield Pieces in any level:

Collect all Police Shield Pieces in the game:
There are a total of 60 pieces to collect, 4 in each level. These are only in the special assignments and not around the city. Every time you finish a shield piece in a level, you will get a gold brick. You need all 8 disguises in order to collect some of the shield pieces, as well as Rex Fury in order to brick open the heavy lego pieces. If you’re struggling finding the pieces, use the police goggles to look for them, you can usually see the entire area.
Super Compuper
Achieve 100% Completion:
This will be unlocked as you go for the other achievements. In order to unlock this, you will need to have collected all 39 Red Bricks, Unlock and Purchase all 305 Characters, Unlock and Purchase all 120 Vehicles and Collect all 450 Gold Bricks. Make sure you collect the 26 Gold Bricks in the police station as well.
Cheat Chief
Collect all Red Bricks:
There are a total of 39 Red Bricks in the game. 15 of them are found within the levels (1 in each level) and the rest are found throughout LEGO city. You do not have to purchase them, as you unlock them, you have them already unlocked. You will need all 8 disguises in order to collect all of the Red Bricks. Use the police goggles around the city to find the Bricks, there should be one in each district.

Building Model Citizens
Play with all 8 disguise slots customised at the same time:
This is obtainable after chapter 12. Once you have all disguises, go to the police station basement and look for Ellie. Here you can customize each disguise to your liking. Once you have completed customizing each disguise, make sure you equip them and the achievement should pop up.
Secret Shields
Find and Build the 5 hidden Police Shields:
These are found in giant yellow and blue boxes around LEGO City. You will need to collect these while going for the 100% Completion as you will get a character token when building all 5. You will need all 8 disguises in order to get some of these. These boxes are found in the following locations:
- 1. Bright City Plaza – On the western side, North of the Time Square area.
- 2. Cherry Tree Hills – On the rooftops of one of the buildings in the center of the district.
- 3. Fresco – At the top of Fusileani Tower, climb all the way up this long tower to get it.
- 4. Paradise Sands – On top of the roller coaster in this area.
- 5. Uptown – In the south on top of a round building.
Skullpture Vulture
Find and destroy the 5 hidden Red Graffiti Skullptures:
These collectibles look like a flaming skull on a red and black pole. You will need to collect these in order to get the 100% Completion as you will get a character token when breaking all 5. You will need all 8 disguises in order to get some of these. These Skullptures are found in the following locations:
- 1. Apollo Island – In the south of the island, behind a hanger.
- 2. Auburn Bay Bridge – Found under the bridge.
- 3. Bluebell National Park – On top of the dam.
- 4. LEGO City Airport – North of the Crescent Park entrance, underneath the overpass.
- 5. Pagoda – In the west, underneath a pier.
Super Builder
Construct all 65 city Super Builds:
When super builds are discovered, they are marked on the map with a rainbow brick.
You need lego pieces, that you get from breaking objects. You can also use the police goggles to find the bricks if you are near the location. These are only found within LEGO city and not in the levels.
Flash Car
Build up the brick multiplier to activate the super car:
This is easy. All you have to do is break a bunch of stuff while driving. This is easy to do on Heritage Bridge, just keep in the middle and go down the ramps and up them, breaking things on the way. This can be done anywhere as there is a bunch of breakable objects everywhere.
Double Trouble
Throw troublemakers into each other 5 times during Gang Fight Challenges:
This is a pretty simple achievement. All you have to do is grapple an enemy and throw them into one other person, and repeat 5 times. This is done in Gang Fight Challenges as part of the police disguise challenges. Once you’ve listened to the audio of where a gang is going to meet to cause trouble, grapple an enemy and target another enemy to throw him into another enemy. Do this 5 times and the achievement is yours.
What’s In Store
Build all objects in Bright Light Plaza’s LEGO store:
When you have access to all of the city, look at the map and find the Bright Light Plaza district. It looks similar to Times Square in New York City. There will be a ramp that if you jumped over it, it would take you through the strip mall. Underneath the mall is a dynamite machine, use the miner to grab one. Then, head to the right of the machine and follow the sidewalk next to the strip mall, you should eventually come to the LEGO store. Use the dynamite to blow up the door, destroy all of the LEGO pieces inside the store and build the objects that come out of it. The achievement will pop after building the last object.
Scandal!
Listen to 20 different conversations whilst Audio Scanning:
You get the Audio Scanner tool during chapter 5. You get this during the gang challenges. You will know when it’s the main audio because the speech bubble will get fuzzy. Avoid zooming in and listening to this one. Instead, look around and listen to the other conversations, theres usually 3-4 other conversations. You will not get this in one gang challenge, but its easy to do and there are plenty of gang challenges, so don’t worry if you miss a conversation.
Wacky Taxi
Use 10 Stunt Ramps in a taxi with a passenger:
Usually there already is a passenger in a taxi, unless you get a taxi from the vehicle spawn. This is easiest done over by the airport. There is a stunt ramp to build out in front of it, use that after you find a taxi. Taxi’s spawn all over this area, and I was able to get this achievement in less than 10 minutes. All I did was find one taxi and used it 10 times without having to look for another taxi.
Unbelievabull
Complete the Bucking Bronco game:
During the Special Assignment 2, In Chapter 3, you will come to the wardens office, walk to the bull get on and complete the mini game. It will ask you to push a series of buttons, if you do so without failing, you will get this achievement.
Pull the Lawnmower Over!
Drive a lawnmower as Rex Fury:
You can get Rex Fury in Special Assignment 15 towards the end of the level as you’re falling with the debris, stay to the right of this and watch for the ring of studs with the token inside. For the lawnmower, you can either get the vehicle token or head to Crescent Park and you can usually see this driving around. Hop onto it with Rex, drive a little and the achievement is yours.
Nothing bu Net
Score 3 baskets in 3 attempts when playing the basketball game:
There are basketball hoops everywhere, you can find one on Albatross island. Play the basket ball game, and make sure you hit the button once the circle reaches the center. It doesn’t go too fast, so this achievement is easy to do. The achievement will pop once the minigame is over.
Fusileani Twist
Slide down the hand rail from the top of Fresco’s Fusileani Tower:
Get to the tall twisted tower in the Fresco district. Climb up the tower and stop before the right railing becomes a wall. Once you get to that point, jump onto the railing and just let your guy slide down, no need in pushing any buttons. Once you reach the bottom of the tower, the achievement will pop.
Steel Surfer:
Car surf for 30 seconds:
Jump onto a car and your guy will start surfing. Make sure not to push anything as it might cancel out of the surf. Once the 30 seconds are up, the achievement will pop.
Fair’s Fair
Ride each of the 4 super build fairground rides:
Apollo Island – Spinning Shuttle Program
Festival Square – Deep Sea Spin
Pagoda – Frightful Freefall
Paradise Sands – Orion’s Rockets
Go to these locations, find the super build, build them, then ride the ride once in order to work towards this achievement. The achievement will pop after riding the last ride.
Daredevil
Jump from a helicopter into a car:
Much easier than it sounds. Once you have acquired a helicopter, ride it above any car, moving or parked it doesn’t matter, and the option to jump out of your helicopter will appear, it will not appear unless you are above a helicopter pad, or a car so it will be easy to know when to jump.
Mr Gold
Collect 4,000,000,000 LEGO studs:
Once you have all 5 stud multiplier red bricks, this will come natural. It’s easier to collect coins from the levels, however you can easily find coins around the city as well. If you don’t have this by the end of your 100% (which you should) the fountain at the end spews and endless amount of blue coins and you can get the achievement in no time.
True Tourist
Visit all 10 giant LEGO city stone statues:
All you have to do is look at the statues in the locations you find them, nothing else. Refer to the map below for help finding them:
