Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – Make Money Really Fast!

This guide will show you how to make a lot of gold really fast!

Practical Information

Note: Credit goes to Pandi

This guide will take baseline in the productive enterprises you can purchase throughout Calradia. This is a game mechanic which will probably be nerfed in the future, so don’t expect this guide to work a year down the line after the time of writing (01/04/2020).

As stated above will this method take baseline in productive enterprises and will therefore require you to have some capital to work with. I would say at least 15.000 Denars to be on the safe side, but I’ve seen enterprises for sale for less.

As of Bannerlord version 1.0.1 the developers have nerfed the productive enterprises to only generate a maximum of 200 Denars pr. day, instead of being able to generate thousands of Denars each day. But don’t worry, I’ve got the solution!

Getting Started

THIS IS THE TOUGH PART. At the beginning of your game, you will not have too much start capital. It is advised to start doing quest for villagers, where you quickly can get up to 500-1700 Denars pr. successfully completed quest. You can also use more traditional methods like trading, fighting in arenas, fighting bandits and selling the loot.

This is time consuming, I know, but when you’ve done this you’ll be set for the rest of the game.

You also need to complete the quest where you restore your clan to be able to own productive enterprises.

Purchasing Your First Enterprise

After purchasing the enterprise, it will take a few days to start operating. You will still have to cover the workers wages until the enterprise starts operating. After a few days you will see the money will start flowing. But, as stated earlier, the developers have set a limit to how much enterprises will generate.

So after you’ve purchased the enterprise and set it to be a woodcutter you just wait a few in-game weeks.

Playing the Waiting Game

Capitalize!

After a few in-game weeks you can look forward to a nice paycheck. Head into the clan menu and select the “other” tab. You will see a list of your enterprises and see their income. Select your enterprise(s) and you will have the option to sell the enterprise. In this example I’ve waited about two (2) in-game weeks and am able to sell one of my two enterprises for 58.961 Denars.

Sell Your enterprises or wait a bit longer for more profit. When you have sold your enterprise(s) you can head right back into town and purchase the same enterprise(s) for a slightly increased price (a few hundred Denars), which is totally worth it.

And you can just rinse and repeat this step as many times you want.

Enjoy your newly found riches!

My first game was Crash Bandicoot (PS1) from the legendary studio Naughty Dog back in 1996. I turned my passion for gaming into a job back in 2019 when I transformed my geek blog (Re-actor) into the gaming website it is today.
