New World – Crashing Fix

This is for those who have had crashes while playing the game. It might not work or it will it depends entirely on your system as every player has a different system… or you do and the components are aged differently or something.

A Way for Those Who Crash Ingame to Play The Game… Hopefully

Your Settings!

Now when i first started playing New World for the life of me I could not play longer than a couple of minutes, on the very first day of release I could not load into the game without everything in it not rendering properly.

So. What I did was this… change all of the games settings in Visuals to the lowest as possible.

I think i’ve added the screenshots of what my settings were.

Basically have your game in Windowed Mode. And definitely try lowering your Resolution it very well may help you!

Because it worked for me.

I’ve gone from Crashing within minutes to lasting for full hours ingame.

Oh and before i forget if you have a fan or something that blows cool air place it so that its blowing into your computer Tower… for me at least the crashes were because my GPU was apparently overheating… it both crashed my game and restarted my computer so yeah that was definitely annoying and having my fan blowing into my case has been helping… at least i’ve had no crashes since doing it so it must be working.

Like i said somewhere before this might work and it might not work if you don’t like playing a game in windowed mode on a lower resolution than this guide is not for you and i say enjoy your game that crashes constantly… but if this works then jolly good work me i’ve helped someone enjoy a game and that pleases me immensely.

I love two things in life, games and sports. Although sports were my earliest interest, it was video games that got me completely addicted (in a good way). My first game was Crash Bandicoot (PS1) from the legendary studio Naughty Dog back in 1996. I turned my passion for gaming into a job back in 2019 when I transformed my geek blog (Re-actor) into the gaming website it is today.
