Find water, open up your inventory, and throw the meat inside the water, after closing your inventory you will see that rotten meat turns into raw meat, you just need to pick it up from the water.
I’m not sure if it’s something developers added to the game or just a bug.
It won’t work with cannibal arm/leg or fish(at least mine didn’t work).
