The First Descendant – Ultimate Lepic Build

Quick Guide to Ultimate Lepic Build

By Spence.

I’ve seen quite a few Ultimate Lepic builds that don’t do as well compared to mine under my testing conditions, so I’m here to share some of my findings.

Equipment Details:

  • Reactor needs to be a Burning Mechanics Reactor focusing on Tech and Fire. Sub-stats should preferably be Critical Hit Rate and Critical Hit Damage (it scales well since we’re modding for it)
  • Weapon used can be any weapon of choice. Some people are saying 4th ability scales off your weapon’s firearm fire rate but from my testing, it scales off your firearm modules instead. I was able to get the same amount of shots out of the 4th ability with an Afterglow compared to a Python. You are able to get 13 shots out with 4th ability if you have at least +20% fire rate on weapon modules and max MP components.
  • External component should be Slayer 4 set for extra 26.1% skill power.

Notes:

  • To lose out on 2 shots from 4th ability but have more defense, you can switch MP Accel with Spear and Shield.
  • Strong Mentality (-skill cost) is better than Enlightenment(+max mp) in my opinion, given the rarity of MP orbs sometimes and to cancel out Slayer set negatives.
  • To my knowledge, any skill power modifier is bad due to the 2.7k existing modifier on 4th ability anyway.
  • Fire Specialist can be swapped for Focus on Fire if you choose to get your 4th ability back 5s faster but IMO, it’s not going to make a difference in 1 more extra cast per fight anyway.
  • Max MP sensor component is required!

That’s all! I really appreciate it if you’ve made it this far. See you in the game!
