WRC10 doesn’t show stage types or lengths before selecting tires for each rally, making strategy decisions more difficult than they should be. This guide is a reference to what you can expect at each rally at each rally length to make those decisions easier.
Key:
- SS = Special Stage
- SS-Snow = Col De Brun and Col De Brun reversed (only tarmac stages with snow/ice)
- ES = Epic Stage
- SSS = Super Special Stage
- // = Service Park

Short Rallies
All rallies follow a similar layout of 3 stages when using short rally lengths. They begin with a special stage, followed by a service, and then two more stages. Epic stages are not used in this mode.

Medium Rallies
All rallies follow a similar layout of 4 stages when using medium rally lengths. They begin with a special stage followed by a service, two more stages, another service, and then finish with either an Epic Stage or a Super Special Stage. The exception to this is Croatia, which is bugged and always has 4 random special stages regardless of rally length.
Trivia: This is the only rally length that includes a night stage in Belgium.

Long Rallies
In my opinion, this is the best rally length because it has the most consistency in terms of how long each rally lasts and how the rallies are structured. It also eliminates situations where a stage is repeated more than once.
On realistic length, Monte Carlo/Portugal/Greece/Japan can become a real slog because the rallies are super long (up to an hour and a half) and you drive the same terrain over and over.
