First, You need to start big picture mode its the full screen button on the top right corner of the steam window.

Then you need to go to burnout paradise remastered in your Library and go to the controller options.

After applying the settings, go to Steam’s configuration and select “forced off.” Once you do this and start the game, your controller should work properly.
