City Bus Manager – Sort the Bus Models in “Bus Fleet” and “Shift Schedule”

Having all buses randomly sorted in the “Bus fleet” and “Shift schedule”? This a solution on how to fix it!

Explanation

Note: Credit goes to Jellie

When buying buses the buses get a random registration. Then in the “Bus fleet” and “Shift schedule” buses are sorted in alphabetic order.

Example: You buy 2 buses of the same model. One of them could get a registration that starts with A while the other one starts with B. Then if you have more buses already these 2 new buses will not appear beside each other in the “Bus fleet” and “Shift schedule”. When for example scheduling shifts its more convenient to have all buses of 1 model beside each other.

Sorting the Models

To fix this/sort the models, change the first letter of the registration to 1 specific letter for each bus model. So then the buses of that model will appear besides each other in for example the Shift schedule.

If you have many different bus models give each a different first letter. Example:

Master – A

  • (All Master buses will have a registration that starts with the letter A)

Sprinter – B

  • (All Sprinter buses will have a registration that starts with the letter B)

Cito – C

  • (All Cito buses will have a registration that starts with the letter C)
