SCUM – Raid Damage

Just a quick guide for weapon damage on pallisades (wood fence walls).

Damage

Every first % is damage shown per single bullet damage . At every third or fourth shot the damage % may go up or down by 0.01% but we will ignore that and go by the more common damage %

The end value will be the total approx bullet number to destroy a single pallisade piller.

  • M82A1 = 0.66% = 151

Pistols

  • Deagle 50 = 0.12% = 833
  • Deagle 357 = 0.09% = 1,111
  • Block21 9mm = 0.07% = 1,428

Melee weapons do very low damage when raiding. The best ones (sledgehammer and metal axes) only do 0.05% damage per hit. Other melee weapons do even less – between 0.01% and 0.04% damage. You can only swing about 7 times before running out of stamina. Then you have to wait for stamina to come back. Because of this, it takes around 3 minutes just to deal 1% damage to a structure. This makes melee weapons a poor choice for raiding.

These numbers are from the newest patch from the date 9 October 2019 and may change over time depending on game tweaks.

I love two things in life, games and sports. Although sports were my earliest interest, it was video games that got me completely addicted (in a good way). My first game was Crash Bandicoot (PS1) from the legendary studio Naughty Dog back in 1996. I turned my passion for gaming into a job back in 2019 when I transformed my geek blog (Re-actor) into the gaming website it is today.
