Need for Speed Payback – How to Restart the Story (New Game)

You already play the game and make wrong choice when play (like choose wrong class for derelict), or maybe you want play the story again to make content? but the EA not give you choice to new game, and auto sync make the game keep loading old save game. Here how to do that.

Guide to Restart the Story (New Game)

Locate the Savegame

Save game location at My Documents, the folder name Need for Speed(TM) Payback. Delete it.

Deactivate the Auto-Sync

1. Start the steam online and launch your origin launcher.
2. Disconnect your internet or use airplane mode.
3. Start the game.
4. Steam will said they failed to loaded the save because your internet off and ask you wanna play anyway, click yes.
5. The game will launch and you can see it will show the prologue again.
6. In here you already can connect your internet again, the game will automatically replace the old save with new save after you quit the game
