RAGE – The Secret Skull (Pressure Plate Puzzle – Scorcher Base)

Learn how to find and use the hidden skull in the Scorcher Base (The Scorchers DLC) to gain two feltrite crystals you would otherwise have lost.

Two Ways to do the Puzzle

There are TWO WAYS to complete the Pressure Plate Puzzle

Outcome of the 1st Way: Get to the next area without gaining the feltrite crystals.
Outcome of the 2nd Way: Get to the next area while also gaining the feltrite crystals.

The 1st Way

1) Pick up the feltrite crystals from the pressure plate on the right.
2) Place these crystals on the pressure plate on the left.
The ascending pillar stops and the door opens up ahead.

The 2nd Way

1) Pick up the feltrite crystals from the pressure plate on the right.
2) Quickly turn around and locate and pick up the secret skull that emerged from the wall on the right side of the doorway through which you entered the room.
3) Place the skull on the left pressure plate.
The ascending pillar stops and the door opens up ahead.

You can now leave the room taking the two feltrite crystals with you.
