SteamVR – How to Fix: Oculus Quest 2 Not Showing SteamVR

This is how Oculus want you to use SteamVR with Oculus PC app which as of late doesn’t show SteamVR environment in quest 2.

• Install Oculus.
• Install SteamVR.
• Launch Oculus into air-link.
• Pair with Oculus pc app.
• Enable unknown sources.
• Add SteamVR to Oculus pc app library.
• Navigate to Oculus settings>general>set Oculus as active for openxr.

What i did was

• Install Oculus.
• Install SteamVR.
• Launch Oculus into air-link.
• Pair with Oculus pc app.
• Enable unknown sources.
• Add SteamVR to Oculus PC app library.
• Open SteamVR>press the 3 lines, navigate to >settings>openXR. Set Steam as active.

Which after that I restart SteamVR. And it works perfect every time. No issues.

Now when in Oculus home environment PC. You can launch any SteamVR game from your Oculus library and it will throw you in SteamVR environment with all full controls working.
