How to Play Guide: Brimstone
Brimstone is an Agent focused on controling line of sights for his team and giving them an edge in gunfights. Below is the guide for Brimstone, we will offer a breakdown of his abilities and some tips and tricks to help bring his full utility to the battlefield.
Brimstone Abilities
All Agents in Valorant will come with a set of abilities that will complement their roles on the battlefield. This usually consists of 2 abilities that can be bought, a signature ability, and an ultimate. Being a controller, Brimstone’s focus is cutting off lines of sight with his smokes and supporting teammates during gunfights.

| Incendiary | 200 | 1 | Load up an incendiary grenade into Brimstone’s launcher and fire away. Leaves a small area on fire making it harder for enemies to pass through. Damages enemy for 5 hp per hit. |
| Sky Smoke (Signature) | Free (100 for additional) | 3 | Use Brimstone’s gauntlet to pull up a small area of the map around to and mark the areas to be smoked. Unused smokes will carry over to the next round |
| Orbital Strike (Ultimate) | 6 Points | 1 | Equip Brimstone’s Tactical map to mark an area and call in a devastating orbital strike. Almost impossible for enemies to escape if they get caught in the blast. |
Brimstone Utility Tips
- When using Brimstone’s Sky Smoke ability, be sure to focus on areas that are sure to support your teammates in the situation. When Attacking, be sure your smokes are in positions to support a team push, while defending you should focus on cutting off enemy lines of sight (LoS)
- Orbital strike is devastating but takes a second to charge up and fire. The best places to use this are bombsites during enemy defuses and places that are hard to escape from. Anyone trapped within the blast are sure to die, so the harder you make it for them to escape, the more likely you will rake up kills
- Using Sky Smoke’s in combination with Incendiary grenade is a deadly combo. Place the sky smoke with the incendiary inside to punish any enemies who try to push through your (usually) harmless smoke.
- Stim beacons are the perfect response to a rushing enemy team. Whether they are rushing a bomb site to plant or defuse, the Stim Beacon is a sure fire way to ensure your team is outputting maximum damage. Just be sure to use it in places that offer protection and LoS on enemy breach points.
