Hot to Get to Window Mode

Getting the right Conf-File

  • When run with Wasteland, this file gets copied to:
    • %localappdata%\inXile entertainment\Wasteland\wl.conf (WINDOWS 7/8)
    • C:\Local Settings\%USER%\Local Settings\Application Data\inXile entertainment\Wasteland\wl.conf (Windows XP/Vista)
    • ~/Library/Application Support/Wasteland/wl.conf (OSX)
    • ~/.wasteland/wl.conf (Linux)

Edit wl.conf to get window-mode

fullscreen=false
fulldouble=true
fullresolution=1280x720
windowresolution=1024x768
output=opengl
autolock=true
sensitivity=100
waitonerror=true
priority=higher,normal
mapperfile=mapper-0.74.map
usescancodes=true

Edit window resolution to your liking eg. 1920×1080 or so.

autolock=false to free mouse or press CTRL-F10 to unlock.

Change [render] if it’s to blurry (optional)

scaler=hq3x to normal2x or so.
