Fistful of Frags – Weapons Guide

This will describe all the damage weapons give off from point blank range up to a few yards. After that you have to factor a decrease in damage out put from range. Also some tips on gameplay.

Primaries

This is a guide to the Primary load out screen for the Buy menu At time of publishing the point blank ranges were recorded and just know with pistols and rifles, the further away you are, the less the damage will be. (HS=Head Shot, BS=Body Shot, AS=Arm Shot, LS=Leg Shot, TF=Thrown Full, TE=Thrown Empty)

Volcanic Pistol 3* HS54 BS41 AS38 LS24 TF42 TE28 Holds 9 rounds. Quick firing. Quick reload one bullet at a time. (Gold chest)

Colt Navy 1851 4* HS74 BS48 AS44 LS27 TF42 TE28 Holds 6 rounds. Semi-quick firing. Slow reload one bullet at a time. (No chest)

Hatchet (max at 3) 4* HS56 BS40 AS40 LS40 Thrown HS90 BS54-58 AS45 LS33-45 (Blue chest)

Bow 4* Quick pull HS51 BS25 AS25 LG25 Long pull HS110 BS46 AS46 LG46 (Blue chest)

Sawed Shotgun 4* Shotguns have quirks about them. 10 pellets total to a shell. Are always a circle pattern with a RNG of one or two pellets somewhere in or outside that circle. Pellets “seem to be” HS5 BS4 AS3 LS2. But a full body show is not 10×4=40. It’s 72. I assume due to massive shock from ten pellets entering the body… Makes for calculating all the hits or semi-hits not possible for me. TF51 TE33 Holds two rounds. Quick firing. Quick reloading both shells at a time. (Blue chest)

Hammerless x2 5* HS49 BS32 AS26 LS16 Holds five rounds each. Very quick firing. Reload has an RNG of it either reloads in two or three hand motions. (Blue chest)

Remington Army 5* HS82 BS53 AS49 LS30 TF42 TE28 Holds 6 rounds. Semi-fast firing rate. Slow reload all rounds at once. (No chest)

Mare’s Leg 6* HS103 BS67 AS62 LS38 TF60 TE39 Holds 8 rounds. Slow firing. Semi-fast reload one round at a time. (No chest)

Smith Carbine 7* HS120 BS78 AS72 LG45 Holds 1 round. Fast reload. (No chest)

Secondaries

This is a guide to the Primary load out screen for the Buy menu At time of publishing the point blank ranges were recorded and just know with pistols and rifles, the further away you are, the less the damage will be. (HS=Head Shot, BS=Body Shot, AS=Arm Shot, LS=Leg Shot, TF=Thrown Full, TE=Thrown Empty)

Handgun Throw 1*- Allows you to throw your handguns to deal damage. It is different from the “drop” command, which simply drops your weapon to the ground. You can not throw your rifles or bows or (long) shotguns. Melee weapons are still thrown using secondary fire. Handguns can be thrown much further than any melee weapon can. There is a bit of a windup though. Also your damage output per hand gun depends on how many rounds are in it. Full will be different from empty and anywhere in between. Also you can throw two handguns at a time. Allows for the Portable Whiskey to be thrown as well, otherwise that is a purely defensive item for healing.

Heavy Loads 2*- Allows you to carry different furniture, including barrels more easily.

Jumpster 2*- Allows you to jump off a wall to higher places or avoid gun fire. You can not continuously jump up higher between two points like Jackie Chan. Also lets you take less damage from falls.

Brass Knuckles 3*- Left Jab HS27 BS19 AS19 LG19 Right Hook HS42 BS30 AS30 LG30 (No chest)

(Bare hands 0*- Left Jab HS18 BS13 AS13 LS13 Right Hook HS28 BS20 AS20 LS20)

Knife x3 (max at 5) 3*- HS42 BS30 AS30 LS30 Thrown 35 any body part. Can be thrown the same distance as the axe and longer than the machete. (No chest)

Slide 3*- Allows you to slide, thus keeping movement, while also keeping decent accuracy about the same if you were walking. Will also lower your height, so harder to shoot.

Boots 4*- Damage 35 any body part. Allows you to punt someone further than without boots. Can kick someone into a breakable object for more damage. (No chest)

(No boots 0*- Damage 25 any body part. Can kick someone into a breakable object for more damage.)

Deringer 5*- HS59 BS45 AS42 LS26 TF25 TE16 (No Chest)

Red Dynamite two sticks 6*- 1hp damage for hitting an opponent with it, even on the ground rolling, 140 damage point blank range. Will knock any weapon out of the hand of the enemy.

Weapon Chests

This is a guide to the chests found scattered around the maps. Usually Blue is the most plentiful at about three, followed by Red at two and only one coveted Gold chest. At time of publishing the point blank ranges were recorded and just know with pistols and rifles, the further away you are, the less the damage will be. (HS=Head Shot, BS=Body Shot, AS=Arm Shot, LS=Leg Shot, TF=Thrown Full, TE=Thrown Empty)

Blue Chest:

  1. Hatchet $15 – HS56 BS40 AS40 LS40 Thrown HS90 BS54-58 AS45 LS33-45 Can be thrown the same distance as the knife and further than the machete. Also you can run faster when holding it, faster even than the knife, but not the machete.
  2. Hammerless x2 $25 – HS49 BS32 AS26 LS16 Reload has an RNG of it either reloads in two or three hand motions. (Blue chest) Holds 5 rounds each. Fires very fast. Can dual wield.

Are always a circle pattern with a RNG of one or two pellets somewhere in or outside that circle. Pellets “seem to be” HS5 BS4 AS3 LS2. But a full body shot is not 10×4=40. It’s 70ish (RNG). I assume due to massive shock from ten pellets entering the body… Makes for calculating all the hits or semi-hits not possible for me. TF51 TE33 Holds two rounds and reloads all two relatively fast. Can dual wield.
  6. SW Schofield $50 – HS80 BS52 AS48 LS30 TF33 TE22 Holds 6 rounds and reloads all six at once relatively fast. Can dual wield.

  3. Machete $55 – HS84 BS60 AS60 LS60 Thrown HS150 BS75-97 Heavier and can not be thrown as far as a knife or hatchet. Makes you run the fastest while holding it.
  4. Pump Shotgun W1893 $70 – Shotguns have quirks about them. 10 pellets total to a shell. Are always a circle pattern with a RNG of one or two pellets somewhere in or outside that circle. Pellets “seem to be” 5 damage per body part. I can not seem to register a head shot. 55 damage to chest point blank possibly due to shock of so many things impacting the body at once as 10 x 5 = 50. I love two things in life, games and sports. Although sports were my earliest interest, it was video games that got me completely addicted (in a good way). My first game was Crash Bandicoot (PS1) from the legendary studio Naughty Dog back in 1996. I turned my passion for gaming into a job back in 2019 when I transformed my geek blog (Re-actor) into the gaming website it is today.
