Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – Marrying Mesui, and Other such Clan Leaders

So whats this about? Mesui is the leader of the Khergit clan of the Khuzait faction, she is also married to Bagai, another noble of the Khuzait. Mesui is also too old to be married at the age of 27. These 3 factors all cause Mesui to be unmarryable under standard circumstances.

This method should work for any hero who is not a faction leader A.K.A Rhagaea, there’s a seperate mod solely for her on nexusmods.

What’s This About?

Mesui is the leader of the Khergit clan of the Khuzait faction, she is also married to Bagai, another noble of the Khuzait. Mesui is also too old to be married at the age of 27. These 3 factors all cause Mesui to be unmarryable under standard circumstances.

So How Do We Acquire The Mongol Waifu?

So how do we acquire the waifu? This requires us to have cheats enabled, either through the Develop Console mod on nexusmods.

Once that is installed and deployed, you must press Ctrl+` in order to open the console.

From there, enter these values into the console one after the other.

• campaign.set_hero_age Mesui 27
• campaign.change_clan_leader Khergit
• campaign.kill_hero Bagai

These three commands will help you marry Mesui:

1. Change Mesui’s age to 27. This makes her eligible for marriage (Note: This might affect other characters like Nayantai and Yana, but I’m not sure how)
2. Change who leads the Khergit clan to another clan member. When I did this, it changed to Bagai. He needs to go for the next step.
3. Use the console to remove Bagai. You have to do this because there’s no command to end a marriage. If you try to fight and kill Bagai normally in the game, Mesui will become hostile and attack you.

So What Now?

Now you pursue Mesui, or whoever it is you are performing this act on, as you normally would via flirting and marriage offers, you could also use the command:

• campaign.marry_player_with_hero Mesui
