Red Dead Redemption 2 – Broken Lamp? Unable to Open Collectors Maps?

I have been facing some issues lately where I was unable to use any of the collector maps and the lamp (metal detector) was also broken. The below will help you with the above and maybe other issues you are facing in RDR2 (Red Dead Redemption 2).

Lets get started:

1. START the game, go to SETTINGS and switch OFF the AUTO SAVE. Exit game.
2. Go to C:\Users\You\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings – and DELETE everything but the ‘system.xml’.
3. Go to C:\Users\You\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\CC9AD308 – and DELETE everything but KeyMappings (you can delete these as well if you do not have custom key mapping).
4. START the game. When asked to sync select NO. START game, calibrate the BRIGHTNESS, click ENTER and EXIT game.
5. Go to C:\Users\You\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\CC9AD308 and DELETE ‘cloudsavedata.dat’.
6. START the game, enable cloud save data and choose between cloud or local save.
7. Enjoy!
