Reinstall Lost Ark

If you do uninstall Lost Ark, remember to go into your steamapps/common/ folder and delete the pre-existing “Lost Ark” main folder, for a fresh install.

Easy fix method below!

Go to: steamapps/common/Lost Ark/Binaries/Win64/EasyAntiCheat/”EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe”

Right click on, “EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe” , then click properties, => Compatibility, => Change settings for all users and, check the “Run this program as an administrator”, then hit Okay and close.

[Extra Step] Go into your Program files (x86)/EasyAntiCheat/EasyAntiCheat.exe and do the same thing as to setting it to administrator.

After, launch the setup and:

  • 1) Install or 2) Repair or 3) Uninstall & Install.

Choose between the three choices. (to be sure you can repeat it multiple times)

There you go! run the game and it will not crash.

If u get error in steam launch that says something like “steam-login-pub” then you have to go back to, “steamapps/common/Lost Ark/Binaries/Win64/” and,

Right click on:

  • 1) Launch_Game.exe and 2) LOSTARK.exe (do this for both) then properties, => Compatibility, => Change settings for all users, and check off “Run this program as an administrator” for both files.

After, relaunch, no crash and runs again.

Please do not forget to update your graphics drivers and windows!

Keep hardware all up to date!

It is not due to your hardware it is the EAC or Easy Anti Cheat program that conflicts or overlaps with existing files.

But, if your hardware is below recommended or required then gg.
