Astral Chain – How to Defeat Tartarus Boss

Tartarus Boss Guide

Although Tartarus is massive, you can easily defeat it if you stick right behind its back legs.

You should watch out for it to turn bright orange. This means it’s going to preform a huge AoE attack that will do serious damage. Run away when it does this.

The other thing to look out for is when it turns bright yellow. It’s sort of like a rage mode, wherein it runs around very quickly.

Other than that, stay behind the boss as much as you can and it’ll go down in no time.

Head over to Douglas and you’ll exit the Astral Plane.

After a cutscene, you’ll have to fight off some more enemies, one of which has a huge ax to take you out with.

If you’re struggling with the big guy, wrap him in your chains to stun him. Also, it’s a good idea to take out the smaller enemies first, so they don’t bother you.

After you take out the mob of enemies, you’ll have to analyze the nearby camera to find out where Douglas went.

Use your Beast to ride to your destination. Along the way, you’ll come to a tall structure that must be climbed. However, a group of winged chimeras are in your way, so take them out to proceed.

At the top, use your Legion to cross the gap via the moving platform. At the top of the building, you’ll notice a group of panicked civilians running around.

In fact, one will be trapped under some rubble, so save her if you’d like.

Later down the path, you’ll be engaged by a large chimera. Defeat it to move on. Remember, wrapping enemies in your chain helps out a lot.

Once the chimera is dead, you’ll be able to keep moving.

Eventually, you’ll enter a building with people running out of it. Run towards the people ahead. Look for the elevator that will take you up.

Exit the elevator and turn on IRIS to see better. Keep going straight and you’ll find Douglas in his room. Outside of his room is a camera that you’ll need to investigate.

The camera will point you to a person who has taken Douglass’ case.

Follow the path through the building and you’ll end up outside where a group of enemies await.
